Tying Up Loose Ends

Day 98:

I bought some treasures at a barn sale today: yarns and crochet doodads, including stitch markers. I’ve already used them to hold the pieces together as I stitched the sides of the cardigan. I really like the diamonds on the sides.

I also bought a little rosary with clear glass beads. It was missing the crucifix, which I don’t keep on my rosaries anyway, and there was a little feather pendant in the pendant box, so I bought that to put on the end.

As we were nearing the top of High Point this evening, we saw what we thought was one bright bit of cloud (hit by the setting sun) peeking above a layer of deep indigo clouds. Instead, it was the moon! We watched the Blue Moon rising!
